Overview
A space designed to awe audiences and inspire performers, named for Queen Elizabeth II, who attended a concert here when the theatre opened in July 1959. The theatre features broad columns, dramatic crimson seating, and textured finishes, creating an ambiance that is both contemporary and cozy. It also includes an atrium with sweeping staircases, fairy-like chandeliers, and reflective surfaces, adding a playfully dramatic feel. The theatre hosts a range of productions, including opera, musical performances, Broadway shows, and other amusements. It also features a locally curated art gallery exhibiting works by emerging artists.
